A full-flavoured brisket rub with a smoked paprika backbone. More complex than plain S&P but still lets the beef shine. A great starting point for beginners.
Ingredients
- Smoked Paprika
- Coarse Black Pepper
- Kosher Salt
- Garlic Powder
- Onion Powder
- Chili Powder
- Brown Sugar
- Cumin
- Mustard Powder
- Cayenne
Steps
- 1Mix all ingredients thoroughly.
- 2Apply a generous coat on all sides of the brisket.
- 3Let rest 30-60 minutes or overnight in the fridge.
- 4Smoke at 225-250°F until probe tender.
