A full-flavoured brisket rub with a smoked paprika backbone. More complex than plain S&P but still lets the beef shine. A great starting point for beginners.

Ingredients

  • Smoked Paprika
  • Coarse Black Pepper
  • Kosher Salt
  • Garlic Powder
  • Onion Powder
  • Chili Powder
  • Brown Sugar
  • Cumin
  • Mustard Powder
  • Cayenne

Steps

    Mix all ingredients thoroughly.

    Apply a generous coat on all sides of the brisket.
  3. 3
    Let rest 30-60 minutes or overnight in the fridge.
  4. 4
    Smoke at 225-250°F until probe tender.
