Ingredients
- Buttermilk
- Kosher Salt
- Hot Sauce
- Garlic Powder
- Onion Powder
- Smoked Paprika
- Black Pepper
- Cayenne
Steps
- 1Whisk salt and spices into buttermilk.
- 2Submerge chicken pieces completely.
- 3Refrigerate 4-24 hours (overnight is best).
- 4Remove, shake off excess, and pat dry before cooking.
- 5For fried chicken, dredge directly from the buttermilk.
