A bold Louisiana-style seasoning with heat from cayenne and depth from paprika, thyme, and oregano. Use on anything — smoked boudin, chicken, shrimp, blackened fish, or gumbo.

Ingredients

  • Paprika
  • Kosher Salt
  • Garlic Powder
  • Onion Powder
  • Cayenne
  • Black Pepper
  • White Pepper
  • Dried Thyme
  • Dried Oregano
  • Chili Powder

Steps

    Combine all spices and mix thoroughly.

    Use as a dry rub, or mix into butter for a Cajun compound butter.

    Apply generously — Cajun food is bold.
